Digestive Problems

Common Symptoms: Coccygodynia

Coccygodynia is pain in the tailbone due to inflammation. The pain is at the joint where the tail bone (coccyx) connects with the bottom of the spine (sacrum). Injection of a steroid and a pain killer into the joint may cure it. This is done in the physician's office. In severe cases the surgeon removes the tail bone.
