Endoscopy Nurse Recognized by Peers

Traci McClellan, RN, CGRN
April 30, 2008 – Traci McClellan, RN, CGRN was recently named by her peers as the Endoscopy/GI Medicine Clinic Nurse of the Year unit winner for 2008! Anyone who knows Traci could do nothing but agree!
As a Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN), she is a true role model for others throughout the department. Not only a superb registered nurse, but a technical expert in Endoscopy procedures. She manifests ALL the qualities of MUSC Excellence – Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Adaptability. Add to that a quiet, calm, cooperative and engaging personality and there you have it! A staff member who stands above the crowd.
Traci's name has been submitted for the overall hospital Nurse of the Year honor, which will be decided upon by a committee and will be recognized on May 5 at a ceremony at St. Luke's Chapel. Please join me in honoring Traci and in wishing her all the best in the overall competition.
Congratulations to our Nurse of the Year!
