GERD Patients on PPIs Still Have Reflux
October 17, 2007 – According to an article posted on MedPage Today, most patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease continue to have reflux, despite twice-daily dosing with a proton pump inhibitor. Dr. Donald Castell, an MUSC Professor of Medicine who also serves as the hospital's Esophageal Disorders Program Director, did a short video interview for the article at the recent American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Meeting held in Philadelphia.
