DDC Nurse Completes Clinical Nurse Leader Process

May 7, 2007 – Congratulations goes out to Jules Sachs, RN, CGRN for successfully completing the Clinical Nurse Leader process. Clinical Nurse Leader status is earned through both a written project format and an oral inteview process and the opportunity occurs twice annually.

Jules contribution project is an entire manual of GI Education for the Spanish speaking patient which can be used by patients and families, our staff and docs, as well as, intrepreters who arrive to speak with patients.

Jules returned to GI about one year ago and since that time she has obtained her certification in GI nursing (CGRN) and completed the CNL process.

We are proud to have one more staff member challenge the Clinical Nurse Leader opportunity.
