DDC Faculty Member Gets Invite to Capsule Endoscopy Conference

March 27, 2007 – An international by-invitation-only Capsule Endoscopy conference was recently held in Miami, Florida. Our very own Dr. Brenda Hoffman was one of only 62 invited faculty members, representing fourteen different countries, to attend the March 9th event. This conference was a debate forum for current and future technology and applications of wireless capsule endoscopy with a primary focus on colon cancer screening using methods other than colonoscopy, including self-steering video gear and the colon capsule.
